Formula One driver from Belgium. He participated in one grand prix, debuting on August 5, 1956, however he had to retire after 15 laps due to an engine failure.
A useful sports and production car driver, Milhoux, in what was his only single-seater appearance of note, drove a Gordini T32 in the 1956 German Grand Prix, taking over from originally nominated driver Andre Pilette who injured himself in practice.
Milhoux had successfully handled huge Plymouths and Fords in Belgian events and partnered compatriot Paul Frere to win the 2-litre touring car class in the 1953 Mille Miglia, the pair driving a Chrysler Saratoga.
Subsequently Andre moved into pukka sports machines. He finished fifth overall with Seidel in the 1955 Le Mans 24 Hours (taking second place in the 1100-1500 cc class), and fourth in the Paris 1000 Km in 1956 sharing an Equipe National Beige Ferrari with Pilette. He retired after crashing one of their yellow Ferrari in practice for the 1958 Spa GP, counting himself lucky to have escaped unhurt.
