Buenos Aires, Argentina...Taking the lead when defending World Champion James Hunt had an accident with six laps left, Jody Scheckter won the Argentine GP driving a Wolf. Hunt dominated the race in his McLaren, taking the pole, setting fastest race lap and leading 21 of the 53 laps before the accident. Carlos Pace finished second in a Brabham-Alfa, 43 seconds behind Scheckter.
