Alan Baille has probably not only held a racing licence longer than nearly anyone else in motor sport but he has raced every year since 1961.
Alan first raced an Austin Healy Sprite and the list of cars that he has owned and raced includes everything from 750 Formula cars to a 3 litre Penske F1 car.
He has won 8 National and 2 International Championships, has over 180 wins to his name including the Carrera Panamericana in a 1954 Oldsmobile.
Over 30 cars and between 800 and 900 races is a remarkable record that not only will probably never be broken but is still being added to.
2006 saw Alan behind the wheel again, racing his T71 Cooper in South Africa and other tracks.
