In 1982 Enrique Mansilla became the West Surrey Racing's driver in the British F3 Championship, and although the advent of The Falklands War was to cause severe financial problems, Mansilla developed into one of the best drivers in F3. He ended the season being pipped by a mere two points, finishing runner up to Tommy Byrne. Enrique Mansilla raced briefly in Indycars and was last heard of selling Ferraris in California.
