Drove at Indy in 1949 with the Pat Clancy Special. It created a sensation that year with 4 driving wheels at the back. He qualified in 17th place but went out with drive shaft failure. He ran at Indy again in 1950 but with a more conventional car an Olson/Offy. He crashed out after 123 laps. He failed to qualify in 51 (Kurtis/Offenhauser), 52 (Maserati/Offenhauser) and 53 (Adams/Offenhauser). Retired and ran a TV & Electrical shop in Indianapolis.
