Successful Porsche racer in the SCCA Speedvision World Challenge GT Championship he also served as a race instructor.

From Naperville, Illinoi, George was a speed-happy teenager droving a 1969 Mustang and acquiring more than his fare share of speeding tickets. He proper racing career began in 1995 driving a Ford Mustang Cobra in IMSA Street Stock GT.

In 1998 he purchased a Porsche 911 RSR and won a number of SCCA races.

In 1999, competed in the 24 Hours of Daytona in a Ferrari 355 Challenge and entered the 911 RSR in the SCCA Speedvision World Challenge GT Championship. In 10 races he was on the podium four times, set the fastest lap at Mosport, Canada and led at Laguna Seca in California before finishing second. He finished 3rd overall in the points and won Rookie of the Year honors.

In 2000, ran the Six Hours at The Glen in a Porsche GT3 RS. 

He then served as a driving instructor for the Porsche Club of America, Shelby American Club, BMW Club and the Alfa Club of America.
