Guido Pardini
Guido Pardini raced in European F3 and Italian F3 in 1978, finishing 2nd in the Italian Championship

In 1979 Guido Pardini he again drove in the Italian and European Championships driving an Emiliani. Based on the 1978 Wolf Dallara and modified by Giampaolo Dallara who designed the original. A sleeker body was fitted sidepods were added and a Toyota engine fitted. It was good enough to finish 6th in the Italian Championship.

He also competed in a couple of rounds of the Aurora F1 series in a Williams FW06-Cosworth run by Team Agostini.

The following year the Emiliani was modified again, this time with a lower cockpit and a nose reminiscent of the March 803. An intensive development programme was carried out and Pardini took the title that year in the Emiliani 380 run by the Ferdinando Ravarotto despite stiff opposition from Enzo Coloni and Michele Alboreto. The car was effectively the first Dallara F3 car, Emiliani was just the name an Italian wine company who were the sponsors.

In 1981 he moved up to Formula 2 competed in the European F2 Championship driving a Lola T850 - BMW/Heidegger. He posted mostly DNF's with his best result and one of only four times he actually finished was a 7th at Vallelunga in the XXIII Gran Premio di Roma. He also drove a Martini/Toyota in a few F3 races.

Sadly on 22nd October 2007 he suffered fatal heart attack. He was 54.
