Known as the 'racing dentist' Dr. Jack Miller competed in the Indy Racing League and in the Indy 500 from 1997 until 2001.

Dr. Jack Miller was born in Indianapolis and raced in the Indy Racing League from 1997 to 2001. He also competed in theIndianapolis 500 from 1997 to 1999.

Miller is a dentist and was thus known as "the racing dentist."

His best IRL finish was a 9th in 1998 at Lowe's Motor Speedway. In his rookie year in 1997, he drove a Crest Racing Dallara/Infiniti sponsored by Procter & Gamble. He started 17th and finished 20th, earning $171,250.

In 22 career starts, he finished in the top 10 only once and actually finished a race only four times.
