Mike Groff is a former racing driver in CART and the Indy Racing League. In 1989 he won the Indy Lights Championship.

Mike Groff was born in Van Nuys, California, and is a former racing driver in CART and the Indy Racing League. In 1989 he won the Indy Lights Championship.

He made 54 starts in CART beginning in 1990 with a best finish of 7th, at Nazareth Speedway during his rookie season. After a dismal 1994 in CART and spending most of 1995 out of racing, Groff competed in the first 3 races of the IRL season in 1996 finishing 6th in the fledgling championship. His last open wheel race was the 1998 Indianapolis 500.

He attempted to qualify for the 1999 "500" but failed to do so. His best finish in his 5 Indy 500 starts is a 12th in 1997. His younger brother Robbie was also a CART and IRL driver from 1994 to 1998.
