Hans Blees

Post war German racing driver who raced a Veritas and an AFM mostly in East Germany.

Hans Blees was from Düsseldorf

In 1952 he raced a Veritas RS BMW finishing 3rd in a round of the DDR Sportscar Championship at the Sachsenring.
 
He entered the German GRand Prix in 1953 but did not appear.

In 1953 when Heeks became a member of the semi-works Veritas team "Ecuire Nürburg" and switched to one of Loof´s new Meteor cars, he handed over his AFM 50-8 to Blees, who used it mainly in East German events. He entered it into the German GRand Prix in 1953 but did not appear.

In East German Formula 2 was prolonged until the end of the 1954 and Blees campaigned the full season in the car finishing 3rd in the Dresden Hellerau Rennen and second at the Bernaurennen at Bernau in Germany.
