Calvin Fish is a former racing driver who competed in Karts, Formula Ford 1600, Formula Ford 2000, Sports 2000, SCCA Trucks, Formula 3, Formula Atlantic, Indy Lights and IMSA. GTO class winner at Sebring and Daytona in 1990 he now works in television in the USA.

Calvin Fish was born in Norwich, England, and began racing in karts before moving up to Formula Ford 1600 and Formula Ford 2000. He did pretty well at this level once beating the great Ayrton Senna. He finished runner up the Pace British FF2000 Championship in 1982 as well as making his debut in British Formula Three the same year.

In 1983 he finished a respectable 4th in the Britsh F3 Championship taking one win and eight podiums in the 19 races.

However 1984 was a dissapointment, with no budget he had just one F3 race and the following year headed of the the Unted States where he drove a Tiga SC85 to second place in the East Coast Division of the SCCA Pro Sports 2000 series.

He moved to Formula Atlantic in 1985 as well as competing in the IMSA GT Series. That year he finished second in the North American Formula Atlantic Championship driving a Ralt RT4 Ford and the following year went one better to win the Eastern Championship. This led to a drive in Indy Lights with Molly Shierson with backing from HFC. He made 14 starts but after failing to secure a CART drive he returned to sports cars winning the GTO class at the 12 Hours of Sebring and 24 Hours of Daytona in 1990.

He retired from racing in 1996 and is currently an announcer for the Speed Channel and has also worked for ESPN, Speedvision and NBC, doing live radio comentary for the IMSA series. He also does some driving training at Mid-Ohio.
