Christina Surer was born on 26th March 1974 in Basel. She studied to become a nurse before deciding that a career in modeling and hosting TV shows was more suitable. At 23, she married the Formula 1 driver Marc Surer but they divorced in 2000.
She started racing in karts in 1994 before moving to the Schweizer Meisterschaft Superserie in a Ford Focus ST170 and the Alfa 147 Cup in 2002 and the Ford Fiesta Cup in 2003. She also participated in her first endurance race in 2003 driving in the 24-hours at Nurburgring.
In 2004 she started racing in the Seat Leon Supercopa with a best finish of 6th and returned to the Nurburgring for the 24 hour race again. She continued with the Seat series in 2005 and 2006 as well as making her annual apperance at the 'ring.
On television she hosts the show 'Tuning TV' and 'Seat-Magazin' for DSF. She has also done a spread for Playboy magazine.
