Japanese racing driver mainly involved in GT racing after Japanese F3000 in the early 1990's.
Hisashi Wada is noted for his aggressive style of driving. He has reputation of being quick and getting good results.
He started racing in 1984 in the Suzuka Silver Cup series finishing second. He moved up to Formula 3 in 1985 and 1986 as well as racing in Formula Ford 1600 in 1986.
In 1991 he graduated to F3000 where he raced until 1993.
In 1994 he contested the N-1 Taikyu and the All Japan GT Championship
In 1997 he raced a Diablo with Takao Wada. Then the following year shared the driving of the Diabalo in GT-1 with Naohiro Furuya
In 2000, he moved to 910 Racing in GT 300 class.
