Maxwell William Humphrey Aitken, 3rd Baron Beaverbrook, is a British peer, baronet and politician who has raced in the FIA GT Championship.

Maxwell William Humphrey Aitken, 3rd Baron Beaverbrook, is a British peer, baronet and politician.

Aitken is the grandson of the 1st Baron Beaverbrook and the only son of Sir Max Aitken, by his third marriage to Violet de Trafford. He was educated at Charterhouse and Pembroke College, Cambridge.

A member of the BRDC he raced a Porsche 968CS in the Porsce Cup Series in 1996 as well as finishing runner up in the  Silverstone Race School Saloon Car Championship.

In 1997 he drove a Porsche RSR to 2nd overall in the Nurburgring 500km. He followed this by taking the GTR Championship in 1998. He won at Paul Ricard in the 4 hour race driving a Porsche 911GT2, finished 2nd at the Nurburgring 4 hoursand the Spa 4 hours. He came 3rd overall at Vallelunga and won his class in the 6 hour race.

For 1999 he entered the FIA GT Championship driving a Porsche 911 GT2 to 7th at Silverstone and Donnington in the 500 mile races.

He came 5th in the GTS class at the Silverstone 500 round of the ALMS in 2000 driving with Martin Stretton and Geoff Lister.

He has also raced in historics, campainging a Ford Galaxie.
