Italian born racing driver who emigrated to the USA in 1898. He was killed in practice for the Indy 500 in 1931.
Joe Caccia was born in Naples Italy and emigrated to America with his parents in 1898. He and his riding mechanic were killed when he crashed his Duesenberg during a practice session on Tuesday, 26 May 1931 before qualifying for the Indy 500.
