Keith "Porky" Rachwitz raced midgets and sprint cars at Ascot but never managed to qualify for the Indy 500 failing to make the grid in one of Mickey Thompson's rear engined cars in 1962. Powered by the small block aluminum Buick V-8, only one of the four machines entered made the race, driven by Dan Gurney.

Made the first appearance of a rear-engine car at Milwaukee when he drove the car later in the year finishing 13th.
