Yvon Tapy
Yvon Tapy worked as a BMW dealer in his hometown of Niort and competed in selected sports car races as a driver in the 1980s and 1990s. Along with Roland Bassaler and Dominique Lacaud, he drove a Sauber SHS C6 twice at Le Mans finishing 23rd overall in 1985 and failing to be classified in 1986 due to not covering the minimum distance.

In the 1990s he drove in the French Touring Car Championship and even made appearances in 2003 and 2005 when he was already over sixty years old.
