Russ Snowberger

Born in Denton, Maryland, Russ Snowberger was an American racing driver and owner active from the 1920's through the 1950's.
After his lengthy Indianapolis career during which he made 15 starts, Snowberger continued his affiliation with the "500" by sponsoring entries throughout the 1950's.
He was on pole for the race in 1931 and posted his best finish at the Brickyard, crossing the line in 5th, a finish that he repeated in 1932
He worked in the car industry in Michigan and ran an engineering company.
He died in Mount Clemens, Michigan, in 1968.
