1963

Sebring 12 Hour race won by John Surtees and Ludovico Scarfiotti in a Ferrari 250P

Ferrari dominated, taking the first six places in the 'Sebring 12 Hour' World Sports Car Championship race. John Surtees and Ludovico Scarfiotti drove a new 3.0 liter 250P to victory with another 250P of Willy Mairesse and Nino Vaccarella second. The American challenge of Cobra, Corvette and Chaparral collapsed and the new Jaguar E-Type of Bruce McLaren and Walt Hansgen had brake trouble to set up the Ferrari sweep.
