Christian Peruzzi

Christian was born in Mannheim, West Germany. He was CEO of Fiat Auto Ireland from 1997 to 1999 when he left to take up the post of chairman of FIAT Automobile AG in Germany.

He was remarkably popular with both in business and in his social life. A true gentleman who's company was much sought after.

Christian Peruzzi died doing what he loved best. Trying to qualify an Alfa Romeo Scuola Sportiva - Alfa Romeo 147 in the ADAC 24 h Rennen at the Nurburgring. He lost control on the north loop and rolled several times. Peruzzi suffered massive head injuries and though rescue workers were on hand almost imeadiately, Peruzzi died at the scene. It was his 38th birthday.
